Snowboard Instructor Courses - Whistler Canada
If you are looking to gain a Canadian snowboard instructor certification which will allow you to teach all across the world then you have come to the right place.

At Pro Ride we offer snowboarding instructor training courses so that you can prepare and complete the Canadian Association of Snowboard Instructor (CASI) exams.

The entry level course is four weeks in length and focuses on teaching you all the riding skills and teaching tactics required for the CASI Level 1 certification. A certification which qualifies you to teach beginner to intermediate riders.

Once you have completed the Level 1 snowboard instructor course the next step in the progression is the CASI Level 2 certification. This certification allows you to teach intermediate to advanced riders. We recommend a further six to eight weeks of course preparation. During this time we will develop your teaching, rider analysis and own personal riding skills.

An alternative or an addition to the CASI Level 2 is the freestyle snowboard instructor certification. The freestyle snowboard instructor certification is a certification which focuses on how to teach both adults and kids, basic freestyle tricks. To complete this course we recommend either four weeks training in addition to the CASI Level 1, combine it with both the CASI Level 1 and 2 during one of our 12 week snowboard instructor courses or combine it with the Level 1 during a 8, 10 or 12 week course.

When you come to train with Pro Ride you have the flexibility to choose how long you would like to train for as well as how you would like to combine your instructor training. You have the opportunity to spend either more time riding freestyle or more time freeriding. It is up to you. You will find more information about these options on the courses page of the site. We offer preperation for all Levels of CASI certification. For levels 3,4 and freestyle coach Level 2 you will need to contact us directly.

Ability Level
To successfully complete a four week Level 1instructor training course you should have 40+ days of riding experience. However if you have less days riding experience do not despair as we can still prepare you for the certifications. It is best to speak with us directly so that we can determine your ability level and recommend the best option for you personally. No matter your Level we can help you achieve your goals.

Snowboard Instructor Course Upgrade
With Pro Ride you have the opportunity to mix and match instructor training with our longer term freeride and freestyle courses. You have the power to set your own training goals. You may choose to do an 8 week program focusing on freeride and instructor training for the first 4 weeks and then freestyle for the last 4 weeks. You may want to do a 6 week course to attain your Level 2 certification as you have already attained your Level 1. It is up to you.

The cost of snowboard Instructor Upgrades are as follows:
-Level 1 Certification $350
-Level 2 Certification $425
-Level 1 Freestyle Coach Certification $350

NB: When you sign up for a 12 week course the Level 1 certification is included in the price so there is no need to nominate this upgrade when registering for this course.

Snowboard Instructor Courses - Beyond the Advanced Level
At Pro Ride we can arrange training for the CASI Level 3, 4 and CSF (Canadian Snowboard Federation) coach courses. To train for these courses you will need to already have your CASI Level 1 and 2 certifications and between 4 - 12 weeks to train.
