SOME WORDS FROM THE DIRECTOR - ANTHONY CRUTE
We love what we do and we’re experts at doing it. From hiking pipe, sliding rails, building jumps, exploring steeps, riding trees, teaching to teach, carving up the piste and first tracks down powder bowls. We know what makes an experience great and how to create these memories day after day. We are all about being fun, flexible, personal, professional and progressive"
Director / Owner/ Lead Guide Anthony Crute

10 YEARS OF FOCUSING ON ONE THING - BEING THE BEST
This season will be out 10th running adult snowboard camps in Whistler. We decided from the beginning that we wanted to be the number #1 winter camp for adults in the world. To achieve this we based ourselves in Whistler year round and only offer snowboard programs. By doing this it allows us to focus on the things which make our camp a success - delivering outstanding accommodations, activities and sourcing the best coaches in the business.

THE CAMP OWNERS OVERSEE EVERYTHING
Anthony Crute (Pro Snowboarder) and Karen Lyons Crute live, breath and eat snowboarding. They oversee everything from marketing, accommodation selection, hiring, staff training, on hill coaching and even BBQ'ing. When you sign up with Pro Ride you will hang out and ride with the camp owners. This is why they started Pro Ride - so they could share all of their great experiences and knowledge with you. They work hard, ride hard and do not settle for anything less than what needs to be done so that you have a great time and achieve your personal goals.

LOWEST CAMPER TO COACH RATIO OF ANY PROGRAM
At Pro Ride we know that to facilitate learning it is much more productive if you only have a few people to train at any one time. We set in stone a company initiative from day one to always have a 4:1 camper to coach ratio. We do train with up to a maximum group size of 8 however any time we have 5 or more people we have two coaches to give you that personal feedback you need to help you progress.

HAND PICKED PROFESSIONAL COACHING TEAM
Out team is our greatest asset. We are fortunate that due to our location and our continued industry participation we can hand pick some of the most experienced coaches in the world. Our staff consists of Olympic team riders and coaches from several different countries, pro development coaches, CASI examiners and a guest line up of pro snowboarders who drop by to share their snowboarding knowledge while they film and train in Whistler.

SPECIALISTS IN FREESTYLE, FREERIDE AND PEDAGOGY
Many of our coaching staff are specialists and are at the top of the industry for what they do. No matter whether you want to progress your freestyling, become a big mountain freerider or develop your skills so that you can make a living in the snowboard industry teaching, we will deliver what you are looking for. NB: Pedagogy = teaching how to teach

HIGH STANDARDS - EXCELLENT RESULTS
For the past nine years we have achieved an excellent instructor pass rate for CASI certifications. 99% for both Level 1 and 2 certifications and 100% for the freestyle snowboard instructor certification and Level 3 certification.

WORLD CLASS LOCATION - #1 IN NORTH AMERICA
Whistler Blackcomb is the mecca of snowboarding. Ask anyone who has traveled to other resorts and then been to Whistler if they would come back. Many people want to move here for good after spending time here. Whistler has been chosen as the location for the 2010 winter Olympics. No matter what kind of camp experience you are looking for Whistler will deliver both on and off the mountains.

EXCELLENT ACCOMMODATIONS
Having a great place to stay is all part of the experience so we have made sure that we have bright, clean accommodations that are well located to all the amenities you will need during your stay.

INDUSTRY ACCLAIMED
Pro Ride was voted the #1 camp in North America by Snowboard UK Magazine. Pro Ride has received many excellent reviews by other magazines such as Men's Health, Huck Magazine, Elements, Daily Mail SKi and Snowboard Magazine, Whitelines and Australian and New Zealand Snowboarding Magazine to name a few.

A Few Camper Testimonials.

"My time at Pro-Ride was fantastic - the 4 week course progressed my riding to a standard that not only let me walk through the level 1 instructor exam but also let me feel more than confident to go riding with the more experienced instructors during my time working for snowboard school. I met a lot of very cool people both on the course and whilst living in the Pro-Ride house. There isn't a better location for a camp and there isn't a better camp at this location!"

Jonny Murty, UK

"Pro-Ride is an awesome concept, without doubt the best way I have found to improve my riding, and great value too. I can't recommend you highly enough and hope to come back again some time in the future"

Dan Hayden, Australia

"I hope all is well, I just wanted to thank-you for an amazing week of pro-ride! I learned so much from each of you! I continue to practice everything I've learned, and find myself riding stronger each time .Thanks again!. Take Care,"

Chelsea Walters, USA

Really pleased I got my CASI 1 and 2 and I just had so much fun on the pow

really was shit so it shows how much Improved! I also loved watching all the
coaches ride, and doing crazy stuff like Lances superman front flip on jump
day and seeing all you guys do huge methods! Love that trick! Please pass my
thanks on to all the coaches at Pro Ride. Will try and get some cash
together to return to Pro Ride in a couple of years to get better at
freestyle. All the best"
