Women's Snowboard Camps
If you are a female rider who is looking to build your confidence, learn new skills and have a great time, then Pro Ride is for you. We have lots of women come and train with us each winter. We do not offer a specific girls snowboarding camp or snowboarding camps for women however we do have many great female pro's on staff and we make sure that you have the opportunity to train with them. If you do have a group of 4 or more we can organize a custom women's snowboarding camp for you.

Focusing on fun, friendships and building confidence.
"At Pro Ride we make sure you have the opportunity to ride with friendly female pro riders and coaches. You will receive the individual attention you deserve. You will also ride with some of the best male coaches and pro riders who have many years experience developing female riders."
Director / Owner/ Coach Karen Lyons

How many women come to Pro Ride?
Snowboarding is a growing sport however it is still male dominated. Latest figures indicate that the average is about 3/10 snowboarders is female. We are challenging this as our average is 4/10 campers is female. It is common for women to travel by them selves to Pro Ride as well as to come with their partners and friends. We would like to see it being 50/50 and will do all we can to achieve this goal.

Am I good enough?
As long as you can make turns down intermediate terrain then you are ready for Pro Ride. The majority of our programs are designed for the intermediate to advanced rider. .If you are a beginner, novice, junior development rider or athlete preparing for competition you can contact us to find out about our custom designed snowboard camps.

Female Coaches for 2007/2008
We have a fantastic line up of female coaches who ride for Roxy, Prior, Salomon, Ride, MGT and Burton. Katie Tsuyuki joined our team last season and has just become a member of the Canadian National Team. Katie trained with us many years ago and now is one of our coaches. Vanessa Stark and Lisa are also back.. We have assembled a team who can teach you to freeride, rip up the park or even teach other people how to teach. You can check out our coach line up on the meet the pros page.
